I received last week the last two DVD's of the Dean Martin Variety Shows, volume #'s 27 & 28. As usual I have to view them almost immediately. As I was watching volume # 28 - there was a skit with Dean and Sid Caesar. Dean was sitting at table with a gorgeous woman (his date for the evening), Sid was a stolling violinist, playing requests from patrons. At one point, a sailor from another table beckoned the Sid character over to play a request... I realized at once - that sailor looks like Dean's oldest son, Craig! Sorry, I don't have the ability to post that clip for you folks... but if it wasn't Craig, he looked enough like him to be his double!

I don't remember that clip. Is there anyway you could post a cap? I knew Craig worked on Dean's show but I didn't know he got in front of the camera besides the Christmas show.

I know which scene you mean. I was thinking the same when I first watched it and I'm pretty sure it's Craig! ::)

I LOVE the variety show, my father got them for me on my birthday. I just wish there were more! There was 9 years of the show, but I only got 39 episodes! But I cant really complain, along with the 39 episodes it came with the Dean Martin roast where everyone roasted Dean, and Lucy, and Bob Hope. and it came with a best of variety show DVD. i love it!

a while ago i was flipping channels on the tv. i was the only one home, and was bored out of my mind. well a dean martin show replay was on and i literally jumped up and down on the couch and screamed :D :-X
